“Hi Michael, Thanks for this information. You have saved me a ton of money and grief, although I admit I was quite sad to discover this information as I was very fond of her. I also wanted to ask if there is any way to prosecute her for fraud, and if so, what would be the best way of doing this? I suspect she's been scamming guys like me since she received her education in 2001. She was so believable. It's amazing how good these women are at fooling men. It's sad to discover that she had just gotten married around the time she started writing emails to me. At the start she had always suggested that I come out to see her in the Ukraine. We had correspondence through email mostly, and we skyped a couple of times although she always said there were microphone problems and so she couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear her. I had one phone call with her using the Viber application on my phone. We had communication like this for about 4.5 months. About 3 days ago she changed her mind and said she wanted to come visit me in the USA after talking with her parents. Luckily she told me this right before I was about to purchase my plane tickets. She says she's filed her paperwork for her international passport and wants me to cover the cost of the Visa. I ordered the background check before these events occurred. I of course won't be giving her any money as everyone on forums warned to never send money to someone you haven't met and now that I know what I know thanks to you that seals the deal to not send her money. I think I'm going to pretend like I'm going to send her money just to prove that she had intent to scam me and see if I can nail her for it. Thanks again for your help Michael.
